Who is PMP?
Rose and Ed Thomas founded Property Management People, Inc. (PMP) in February 1980 as a real estate sales company. By September 1980 PMP's focus changed to providing property management services, and from the start, providing excellent service has been PMP's primary mission.
Over twenty eight years PMP has quietly grown to become one of the premier management companies in Central and Western Maryland. Headquartered in Frederick, Maryland, PMP's Community Association Department has satellite offices in Gaithersburg, Maryland; Odenton, Maryland; Leesburg, Virginia; and Sterling, Virginia. Yet, through all the growth, PMP's Mission has not changed.
PMP's commitment to excellence means we endeavor to give each client the personal attention and consideration they need. It means meeting familiar challenges as well as being equal to the unusual or difficult. And it means always looking forward---combining our day-to-day experience with ongoing professional training, the latest in technology and a little creative thinking---to keep us ready for the future.
PMP's Residential Department manages over 350 single family homes, townhomes, condominiums and apartments. We started 28 years ago, with a handful of clients, determined to be the best property management company in Frederick. And though we've grown a lot, PMP is still dedicated to giving every client the same excellent service.
Our knowledgeable staff can help you find qualified tenants, collect rent, and work to protect the value of your rental property through proper maintenance. PMP's application process includes credit history, employment history and rental history; late fees are charged and court papers filed if rent is not paid by the fifth of the month; and we do a thorough, documented inspection of your property prior to every lease renewal and at move-in and move-out. PMP uses current technology to help you keep accurate, detailed financial records and issues monthly and year end statements.
PMP is an active member of the National Association of Residential Property Managers (NARPM), a forum for professional education and exchange that gives valuable insight and helps keep PMP a step ahead. 28 years experience combined with continuing professional education qualifies PMP to guide you through the complex world of rental property management.
